ProWritingAid is a manuscript editor that happens to sit in an SEO directory. It checks grammar and runs line-editing reports on readability, overused words, repetition and style, then goes further for novelists with chapter critiques, plot and character analysis and writing-session tracking, inside Google Docs, Microsoft Office or its own desktop app.
Premium costs $30 a month, $120 a year or $399 once, and the lifetime licence pays for itself against the yearly price in a little over three years. The free tier runs each report twice a day on 500 words, enough to judge the edits. Nothing in it touches keywords or search results. For copy that has to rank, NEURONwriter scores drafts against the top Google results from $23 a month.
