Seed Keywords review: our take
Seed Keywords collects keywords from people instead of a database. Write a search scenario, send the link to customers or colleagues, and each of them types what they would search to solve it. The result is a list of seed phrases in the customer's own wording, free to use, from the UK agency Red Evolution.
That is the whole tool. Its place is at the start of a project, before anyone has decided what the site should target. It returns no volume, no difficulty and no positions, so every phrase still needs checking in a keyword database. The Semrush free plan, ten reports a day, will do that for a short list; Ahrefs from $29 a month for a longer one.
What Seed Keywords does
Seed Keywords lets you describe a search scenario and share a unique link with friends, colleagues or customers. Each person types the search terms they would use to solve that scenario, building a list of seed keywords based on real phrasing rather than a keyword database. It was created by Red Evolution, a UK marketing agency.
