Schema App review: our take
Schema App is for large sites where structured data has to be correct and stay correct as content changes. It writes markup from templates, links entities into a content knowledge graph, deploys through WordPress, Drupal, AEM or Shopify plugins or a CDN, and exposes that graph to AI tools over an MCP server.
It is sold by quote only, with a one-time setup fee, a 12-month minimum term and at least 1 hour of support a month, and new customers can no longer buy the software on its own. A small site wanting a self-serve plugin is the wrong buyer. A brand that only needs to measure how AI answers describe it can use Evertune, which publishes its price: $800 a month for tracking across 11 AI models.
What Schema App does
Schema App implements schema markup across large sites, using templates (Highlighter) and an editor, and links entities into a content knowledge graph that it maintains as content changes. Deployment is via CMS plugins (WordPress, Drupal, Adobe Experience Manager, Shopify), tag managers, JavaScript or CDN functions. Schema Performance Analytics and Entity Hub reports show markup coverage and results, an MCP server exposes the knowledge graph to AI tools, and a Customer Success team runs strategy with at least 1 hour of support per month.
