SEO Minion review: our take
SEO Minion is a page-by-page checker for technical problems: broken links grouped by status code, redirects traced through server, meta refresh and JavaScript hops, hreflang with return-tag validation, and the difference between source HTML and the rendered DOM. On Google it puts one keyword's results from two locations side by side and exports SERP elements to Excel.
It stopped being free in June 2023 and now comes only with a Keywords Everywhere Silver plan or higher, $168 billed annually, with no monthly option; the $84 Bronze plan does not include it. For existing Silver subscribers it costs nothing extra. Everyone else can get redirect tracing and localized results from the free Ahrefs SEO Toolbar, or a one-click on-page summary with hreflang from Detailed SEO Extension, also free.
What SEO Minion does
SEO Minion analyzes the HTML of any page (meta tags, headings, Open Graph) and flags issues, highlights internal and external links, checks every link on a page for broken status codes and traces redirects (server, meta refresh, JavaScript). It validates hreflang tags and return tags, compares source HTML with the rendered DOM, analyzes structured data, and previews your page in a real Google result. On Google it shows non-personalized results for one keyword in two locations side by side, scrapes People Also Ask questions and downloads SERP elements to Excel.
